afternoon siesta with daadu and daadi

Yeah vaakyaan meri zubaani hogi kyoki maa to mujhe ghar pe chod ke office gayi hui thi J aur ghar mein to sirf main thi  with daadu and daadi.

Baat hai last week ki when I was home alone with dadaji and daadi. Post lunch, daadi was busy with some activities and dadaji went to sleep. I too was sleepy ( for a change I wanted to have an afternoon nap). So daadi ne mujhe daadaji ke paas sula diya and she went to the other room to finish her work. While sleeping may be I was feeling hot (after all dilli ki garmi bahut garam hoti hai ;-)) or maybe there was lot of room for me to move about, while sleeping I shifted and took complete 180 degree turn to move under the fan . daadaji ke paas se seedhe close to his feet. How I managed to achieve this is known to none as me and dadaji were sleeping and daadi was in the other room. Well sometime at this point daadi came into the room, lifted me and again placed me next to daadaji. She too then lay on the bed. Kya strategic location thi meri ek taraf dadaji and on the other side was daadi. Main bechari nanhi si jaan dono ke beech mein. Me being me woke up( I can’t sleep for long especially during the day) and discover myself wide awake between a sleeping beauty and a sleeping handsome. Imagine there was no one to play with me. I thought of waking up dadaji so that he can play with me. I went close to dadaji and with my tiny fingers tried to scratch his forearm. Koi asra nahi. Daadaji kept on sleeping without feeling anything.  I’ll have to do something else. So I started hitting on the bed with my palms is umeed mein ki sensation se kaam nahi chaa to shayad awaaz se daadaji may get up. Imagine who bhi beasar raha. Theek hai who nahi uthna chahte to why force him. Main bhi sleep le leti hoon.  Par yeah kya. Mera pillow to mere room mein hai and I was in daadaji’s room. Koi bata nahi kuch to milega, I looked around to find some portion of daadiji ka pillow unoccupied. Phir kyat tha, I put my head there and zzzzzzzzzzzzzz went off to sleep. My dear daadi who was up till now pretending to sleep ( and was actually watching all these activities ), took the pillow out from under her head, moved my head onto the pillow properly and she too went off to sleep.
