Some pics from Devaangi's first vacation

The trip has begun... maa i won't share my choclate with anyone!!

finally i got what i was looking for!!! maa i am taking all ur money and cards :-)

time for some masti with papa!!! papa ke kandho ki sawari in mashobra!!! after all i gain a lot of height u see :-)

 

dekho main apne pairon pe khari ho gayi... yes i too can walk :-)

papa bahut photos ho gaye ab bus bhi karo naa!!

ssshh!!1 don't disturb me!!! mujhe badi pyari neend aa rahi hai!!!!

 

behata paani, thandi hawa... wah maza aa gaya... mere bath tub se bada aur acha place to play with water... mm lovin it:-)

Devaangi's Mundan

We got Devaangi’s mundan done on Sunday 2 sep at chanakyapuri mandir. Trust me it was no less than an ordeal to get it done.

Bacha along with her entire troupe i.e ma, papa, daada, daadi, naani and badi daadi was there at the mandir. By the time we reached the mandir it had started to rain and bacha was all thrilled to be in mandir especially about ringing the temple bell which she enjoyed thoroughly.

Everything was ok till the time the pooja was on. Jaise hi mundan ceremony shuru hua, bacha realized that we are up to something and she started crying. Pehle papa use pakadh ke baithe and then it was maa’s turn. Finally papa held bacha in his arms and maa firmly held bacha’s face (least she turns it away) all the while the barbar shaved bacha’s head. Bacha cried like anything but we are able to manage with the whole process in 10 minutes flat. Post the head shaving , we put haldi and curd paste on bacha’s head and gave her a bath.  By this time bacha has settled down and was somewhat back to her normal self.

Post the ceremony we all went out to gymkhana for lunch and had to leave bacha in children’s room with her nanny as kids are not allowed in dining room. In between the meal we went to check on bacha and were pleasantly surprised to find bacha happily playing in children’s room. Bacha was so engrossed that she did not even bother to look at us.

The same day bacha not only managed to stand on her own  but also took few steps without support.
